All contact information is held in a secure and encrypted manor. We use the secure pages to protect transactions. Hometrain uses Paypal to take care of credit information, we do not at any time see, hold or process credit card information in-house as a matter of principle.

Pricing & Purchasing
Euro Prices (Transaction currency):
All items for sale in 'The Hometrain Shop' are transacted in Euros. We have a facility where customers outside the Euro zone can view prices in other currencies however this is simply a guide and the prices are a periodic conversion of the fixed Euro price. After you make you make your purchase at online checkout the transaction is carried out via PayPal using the fixed Euro prices for your items. The value of this Euro amount in your currency is whatever the exchange rate is at the time of purchase.
Where payment is made by cheque, postal order and/or bank draft, items will only be sent after payment is received.
Returns Policy
The Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period):
If, for whatever reason, you are unsatisfied with a product from us, you have the right to cancel your order within seven days of payment and get a full refund, in accordance with EU regulations. To cancel an order, please send us an email or write to us at the address below, quoting the Order No. you received from Hometrain, the reason for cancellation and the name of the person who made the transaction. If you have already received the product simply return your items to us as supplied together with the aforementioned details. A receipt or email order number must be provided with all returns.

Please note that On cancellation of an Order, you must return the Goods to us in their original condition and undamaged. When you cancel an order, you will have to pay the carriage costs for returning the Goods to us unless we have not been able to supply the Goods as ordered and have substituted alternative Goods. Whilst in possession of the Goods you are under a statutory duty to take reasonable care of them. You must take reasonable care to ensure that the Goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged whilst in transit.
You will not be permitted to cancel a purchase for Software supplied on CD, DVD or other similar storage devices if the Software packaging has been unwrapped or the seal has been broken. When you cancel an Order, we will refund the price paid, less any direct cost of recovering the Goods (when applicable), within a period of 30 days from the date of cancellation.
Returns of Defective Products:
In the event that any product is found to be defective at any time within the first 30 days from delivery then please contact us as soon as you become aware of the defect, ensuring that you have the fault description and serial or part number available. We will not charge you for the collection of the Defective Goods. It is your responsibility to package and secure the Defective Goods prior to collection to prevent damage during their return to us.
If, when we examine the Defective Goods, it is evident that the defect or breakage has occurred due to an obvious lack of care, or if you have altered the Goods without our consent then we reserve the right to refuse or limit any repair, replacement or refund.
