There are many options of parent and toddler group, playschool and créche available. These offer full day, sessional services and drop-in sessions. Many children are entitled to Special Needs Assistants, and can attend pre-school, the different types are:
• Playgroup
• High Scope
• Montessori
• Pre/after school care
Your local County Childcare Committee will advise you on pre-schools near you (we won't list each one, just search for your local office i.e. Meath County Childcare Committee.
