Stress-free haircuts at 'The Hairy Planet'

Children visiting The Hairy Planet will:

1. Play with specially selected toys and activities
2. Take part in sensory play with vibrotactile toys
3. Explore hairdressing equipment in a safe, fun environment
4. Play computer games
5. Have their hair cut with super-quiet clippers

There are: No strong smells, No hair dryers and No loud clippers.

How does it work?
Each session includes: sensory play, hair therapy play, having a hair cut and computer games. You can book a single visit or a regular group booking. Any child can attend, including siblings. Schools and charities can avail of reduced rate group bookings on weekdays.

We Know Children:
Children may or may not get their hair cut. No child will be forced to avail of a haircut, and we understand that it may take time. Some children need a number of sessions before they attempt to have their hair cut and we offer a special rate for children who need regular visits: Buy 5 sessions - get one free!

Location and Times:
The Hairy Planet is open Saturday afternoons from 12:30pm. We are located at The Bangla Therapy Centre, Balrath, Navan, Co. Meath. Just off the N2 between Ashbourne and Slane.

Price and Booking:
Price per child is €22 per half-hour session including hair cutting or nail cutting. Siblings can avail of a dry cut for €10.
Places are limited, so booking is essential.
Please note: cancellations notice required at least 24 hours before appointment.

We also have bottles of 'Leave-In' conditioner spray; small bottles for €5 and large for €15. Also Nail Kits for €8.
