Preschool Penguins
Ages: 3 to 5 year olds
Synopsis: The Penguins focus on basic communication, language, play and social skills.
Staff: Group Leader - Karen Lynch, an experienced ABA Tutor along with two experienced preschool SNAs.
Times: 10am to 12noon every Saturday (term time).

The Parrots Group
Ages: 6 to 9 year olds
Synopsis: The Parrots programme focuses on conversation, friendship, learning about each other, social play, listening and eye contact.
Staff: Group Leader - Claire Whyte, Play Specialist and an experienced ABA Tutor along with one qualified teacher and two experienced SNAs.
Times: 10am to 12noon every Saturday (term time).

About the Groups:
What we do and what we offer:
- Weekly, themed fun activities to teach and promote social skills
- Develop a group plan every six weeks
- Produce individual plan and report every three weeks
- Communicate openly with parents. Produce weekly course
content information, reports and have a 'contact anytime policy'
Ethos of the Groups:
- Give each child a response method (verbal or visual)
- Give each child their time to reply or respond
- Allow each child opportunity to express their ideas and needs
- Promote independence, confidence and respect
- Have fun and enjoy making friends
Special attention:
To us, each child is an integral part of the group. They each receive equal attention to suit their needs through:- Individual teaching plan
- 1-1 with teachers
- Small group activities
- Circle time / big group activities
- Reinforcers with A.B.A. teaching methods
Every child has their own folder which is sent home every 6 weeks with a progress report.
Every child is assessed according to their own ability.
Every child takes part in all activities.
Every child's goals are different.
Location and Times:
We are located at The Bangla Therapy Centre, Balrath, Navan, Co. Meath. Just off the N2 between Ashbourne and Slane.
From 10am to 12noon every Saturday (term time).
